Do I use this app often? No. It has a thing that lets it be available in the background a mere button away, but I don't use it often enough to bother. However, I have been *very* glad to have it around the few instances I need it to identify really catchy songs I had trouble looking for otherwise, like "Beggin" by Maneskin; or "Farewell to the Fields" by Yaelokre. It's like the calculator app for me. Not often used, but always glad it's there when I need it!

Latest update is causing massive battery use with the app being used. 64% of my battery used by Shazam. Had to restrict background usage. I use it while listening to talk shows that play songs into or out of breaks, songs that I hear that I want to remember to download, but the best is on commercials or TV shows! Even a song a character from Euphoria was playing on his guitar was on there! Since Google ended Song Search, glad to have this to use now. And having lyrics is the best!
