User Reviews

Reviews praise the depth of Neil Young’s archives, sound quality, and subscription value. The dominant complaint is that the Android app frequently crashes or freezes; users also report playback problems and content gaps compared with other versions. Overall, many say the app’s technical issues make it difficult or impossible to use reliably.

Pros

Extensive Neil Young catalog, including exclusive archive material and footage, is a major draw.
Listeners appreciate the sound quality and the value of the subscription.

Cons

Frequent crashes, freezes, and loading failures make the Android app unreliable.
Playback often fails or is interrupted by audio dropouts.
Some content available elsewhere, especially on iOS or the desktop site, is missing or difficult to access in the Android app.
The Android experience is repeatedly described as less polished and less functional than the Apple version.

Recent reviews

The app is amazing in terms of content and value but the Android version is almost unusable sadly, continually crashes, unable to create playlists among other things. A real shame. Please someone fix.

Using on Samsung Galaxy S10 via USB C to Fiio BTR17. Hi-Res output at 192kHz is an absolute delight. I wish all artist cared this much about their music. Neil should offer other artist to also share their archives from the master recordings. Donald from Steely Dan is the first person I would call.
