AKAD

Akad is a halal taaruf app for Indonesian Muslims serious about marriage. There's no dating, no casual swiping — just a well-mannered, ethical introduction with the intention of building a harmonious family, God willing.

We built Akad to make the process of finding a partner feel safe, respectful, and compliant with Islamic law. Every member is verified, your photos are protected, and guardians can be involved at any time.

WHY AKAD

• For marriage purposes only — Akad is not a dating app. All members come with the same goal: to marry for the sake of Allah.
• Members are KTP-verified — every profile undergoes identity verification (KTP + selfie) by our team to keep Akad free of fake accounts.
• Photos remain private — your photos are not public. Photos are only visible after you and your partner have matched, and you are in full control.
• Involve your guardian at any time — invite your guardian to participate in the taaruf conversation to make the process more blessed and secure.
• Conversations in a civilized manner — the Taaruf space is designed to maintain boundaries and respect Islamic values.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Create your profile — tell us about yourself, your religion, and the criteria you're looking for in a partner.
2. Verify your identity — send your ID card and a selfie to get verified.
3. Find a partner — browse candidates based on their faith, city, education, and preferences.
4. Safe Taaruf — if you're compatible, start a serious relationship, and involve a guardian if you wish.
5. Towards a Khitbah — take the steps towards a marriage that is blessed by Allah.

YOUR PRIVACY & SECURITY

Your privacy is a trust. Your ID card image and verification selfie are never shown to other members — they are used only for verification and are kept private. We do not sell your data and do not serve ads. You can delete your account and all your data at any time through the Settings menu.
