Pros

Great streaming media server functionality.
Allows remote access to movies and music stored on a computer.
User interface is nice and generally well-received.
Performs reliably compared to other DLNA/UPNP players.
Works well with Serviio updates and new versions.

Cons

Audio skips or doesn't play audio files from the server.
Difficulties changing external video players within the app.
Issues with connectivity when not on the same network.
Presence of ads despite having a paid version.
Crashes after updates on certain devices.

Recent reviews

Love this app but I started having an issue where music skips roughly once a minute. Basically, it sounds identical to a CD skipping (if you are old enough to remember what that sounded like). The interesting thing is that if I play music on the same device and same internet connection but use the web browser (rather than Serviigo) to access and play music, it doesn't skip. So that suggests to me that it is an issue with Serviigo, rather than the Serviio console, my internet connection, etc....

I love this app. I can watch movies stored on my computer wherever I am. The only problem I have is changing the external video player once it has been set. I had a player which worked perfectly for me, and it suddenly was not seen by Serviigo. The next app I chose I do not like as much but I can't figure out how to make Serviigo let me change it.
