Do you remember seeing pebbles forming stone towers along roadsides or at tourist spots?

The Stone Forest is a project inspired by those stone towers.

When one person places a stone, another often comes along to add another one and make a wish.

In the Stone Forest, you can write down not only wishes but also all kinds of stories—such as worries you couldn't share with others—on the stones and place them there.

Then, others continue the story from that stone, creating a wonderful story and a stone tower all in one.

Please come in lightly and leave behind stories that felt too heavy to share with others or too difficult to reach a counseling center with.

### Key Features

Anonymity
Just as you never know who built a stone tower in reality and who continues to build it, in the Stone Forest, you never know who started the stacking or who placed the pebbles.

Walking
You can look around other people's stone towers while taking a walk.

Stacking Raw Stones
You can start a story by placing your own. We decided to call the first stone you start stacking a "raw stone."

Making Rubbings

Stone towers crumble and disappear when it rains or the wind blows. Likewise, in the Forest of Stones, stone towers vanish with the passage of time. If you have a story you wish to cherish in your heart, try preserving it permanently through rubbings.
