Sense Team Sports

Sense Team Sports is a rugby-based occupational therapy program built for kids who find typical team sports tough. Our coaches aren't your average coach — they're paediatric occupational therapists working alongside trained rugby players, supporting kids in a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, strengths-based environment.

Use this app to:

• FIND YOUR LOCAL PROGRAM — browse Sense Rugby providers across Australia and pick the one closest to you.

• SIGN UP YOUR CHILD — secure intake with the consent steps and program-of-support agreements you'd expect.

• STAY IN TOUCH WITH YOUR COACH TEAM — message your child's coach between sessions, share day-to-day notes, ask questions.

• TRACK YOUR CHILD'S PROGRESS — pre, mid and post-program surveys help you and the coach team see how things are tracking.

• DAILY CARER NOTES — quickly log a note (typed or spoken) about your child's day. Optional AI insights help spot patterns over time.

• PROVIDER PORTAL — clinic and franchisee accounts get tools for managing participants, running sessions, recording short voice debriefs after class (transcribed automatically), and working through provider training courses.

WHO IT'S FOR

Carers and parents of kids enrolled in a Sense Rugby program. Many of our families' kids are neurodivergent, disabled, or developmentally delayed — but you don't need a diagnosis to take part. We start from where each child is and build from there.

OUR APPROACH

Founded by paediatric Occupational Therapist Carlien Parahi and Australian Rugby Sevens Olympian Jesse Parahi, Sense Team Sports pairs experienced OTs with trained rugby players to help kids feel safe, regulated and ready to participate.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

We take privacy seriously. All sensitive health information (diagnoses, allergies, NDIS details, therapy goals, support preferences) is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Our database and application servers are hosted in Sydney, Australia. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time from within the app.

This app is for use by carers, parents, providers and Sense HQ. Children do not log in directly — accounts are managed by their carer.
