Connects to EW-D series but can't change any settings just says connection failed on Google pixel, fully works on iOS

It was little finicky the 1st time trying to connect to my 7 EW-D devices. After a firmware update to both transmitter & receiver, our new devices are working beautifully. Not sure why the rating is so low but theae Sennheisers are a huge upgrade from my Shure mics. The app is fantastic!
