He compiled a lot until his works amounted to 164, including: Al-Azma; Silence; certainty; slander the world Thanks; Al-Faraj after Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ubaid bin Sufyan bin Qais, the Umayyad, Abu Bakr bin Abi Al-Dunya Al-Baghdadi (208/281) AH, from the loyalists of Banu Umayyah, the hafiz, the modernizer, the author of the famous and useful books, he was the educator of the children of the caliphs. He was one of the preachers who knew the methods of speech and what suited people's natures. Abu Hatim and others trusted him. He compiled a lot until his works amounted to 164, including: Al-Azma; Silence; certainty; slander the world Thanks; Vulva after distress and others. He was born and died in Baghdad.

Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer - may God have mercy on him - said about him at the beginning and the end: “He is well-known for his many beneficial, popular, and well-known compilations, and he was truthful, memorized, and chivalrous.”
