■ What is Theft Alert?

Theft Alert is a crime prevention community app that shares information about vehicle theft in real time, helping everyone in the community protect their beloved car.

In recent years, vehicle theft has been increasing nationwide. When a vehicle is stolen, quickly disseminating information to as many people as possible is crucial for its recovery.

Theft Alert provides a system that quickly shares information about theft incidents with people in the surrounding area, creating a community-wide watchful eye on your vehicle.

■ Main Features

【Posting and Viewing Theft Information】
If your vehicle is stolen, you can post information such as the make, model, color, and license plate number, along with photos. Posted information is displayed on a map, allowing you to intuitively see where and what kind of thefts are occurring.

【Push Notifications for Nearby Thefts】
By setting "My Area," you will receive push notifications when theft information is posted in that vicinity. You can choose a notification range of 50km, 100km, or 200km, and register up to four locations. By setting your home or workplace area, you won't miss nearby thefts.

[Check Theft Status at a Glance on the Map]
The map screen displays theft information color-coded by status (Stolen, Found, Resolved). You can filter by time period and distance, allowing you to quickly understand the situation in areas of interest. Location search is also supported, allowing you to check the security situation in travel or business trip destinations.

[Report Sightings]
If you see a stolen vehicle, you can report the location and comments as sighting information. Reports are displayed together on the theft information details screen, contributing to the vehicle's recovery.

[Progress Updates]
The person who reported the theft can add updates on the search progress. You can also change the status (Stolen → Found → Resolved).

[Post and View Suspicious Activity]
You can easily post sightings of suspicious individuals or vehicles (such as tow trucks) using a selection form. Record the type of person, number of people, actions, location, and time, and display them on the map with orange pins. This is useful for sharing information to prevent theft. You can also attach photos and add notes.

[Tweet Function]
You can freely post information and warnings about crime prevention, not just about theft.

[Community Function]
Connect with other users through likes, comments, and follows. You can also add theft information you're interested in to your watchlist to follow further updates.

■ Privacy Considerations

Location information when posting is automatically and randomly offset to protect your privacy. Your exact location, such as your home or parking lot, will not be identified.

We also have a blocking and reporting function for inappropriate users, so you can use it with peace of mind.

No account registration is required, and you can start using it anonymously right away. Linking with your Google or Apple account makes data backup and transfer when changing devices easy.
