SCVT, UP - ITI GEO TAGGING APP

Objective of the Mobile App :

SCVTUP-ITI GeoTagging is the Official Mobile App developed for capturing the Geo location of all the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) under the Rajya Vyavasayik Prashikshan Parishad Uttar Pradesh only.

All the ITI’s in Uttar Pradesh are required to install the mobile app and Geo Tag their ITI location. Once the Geo Tagging has been done successfully the Geo location along with the photograph of ITI will be visible on the Website (www.scvtup.in) for public view.

Process of Geo-Tagging :

1. For Geo Tagging, after reading the instructions displayed on the App, click on the “Proceed” button.

2. On the next screen being displayed, the ITI will have to enter the ITI Code and click on “Submit” button. The submitted ITI code will be verified from the database of SCVT before proceeding. If the Geo Tagging of the entered ITI Code has not been done, the ITI will be re-directed to the next screen else if already done a message will be displayed that “Geo Tagging of this ITI has already been done”.

3. On the next screen the ITI will have to first take the photograph of their ITI building (front view) by clicking the button “Click Photo” and then if the clicked photograph is clearly visible, then click on “Submit Photo” to upload it on the Website.

4. As soon as the ITI clicks on “Submit Photo” the Latitude & Longitude of the ITI location will be displayed on the mobile screen and a message will be displayed that “Geo Tagging has been done successfully”.

Note: - Before proceeding further, please ensure that your mobile is connected with Internet. After installing the Mobile App, during the process of Geo Tagging ‘Location Permission’ and ‘Camera Permission’ of your mobile should be allowed.
