Review summary

Users like the social-media-style scrolling format, which makes daily Bible reading easy and helps them feel closer to God. The most frequent complaints are the paywall and forced subscription, which many feel is inappropriate for free scripture. Several reviewers also report missing words and typos, which they suspect came from AI generation without proofreading. Users want more translation options, including NKJV, ESV, NLT, and Catholic versions. Some suggest the Discover verses rotate more often.

Pros

Scrolling format makes Bible reading easy and engaging, like social media
Helps users grow closer to God and learn scripture
Useful replacement for doom scrolling or short-form video time

Cons

Paywall or forced subscription for Bible content that users feel should be free
Missing words, letters, and typos, which some reviewers attribute to AI-generated content
Limited Bible translations; users request KJV-only fixes, NKJV, ESV, NLT, NIV, and Catholic versions

Addicted to scrolling? This is fruitful! I didn't think it would be the same, but it fulfills that hand/eye whatever.

THIS APP IS AWESOME

Bit of a shame I didn't have more time to try it for free before it would charge me $46. It gave me a 3 say trial period and my husband 7 days, what's that about? Uses AI to create a deeper study, so whilst it could be helpful, some things could be questionable.

"Doom scrolling" turned to scripture meditation.

great idea! great setup! maybe in the future, there could be the option to listen to either music or audio of the verses as you scroll... or listen to the deep study when you pull it up.

I really like this concept but I think the app still needs a lot of work. if you choose any version besides KJV, sometimes the verses are cut off and can't be read fully. I like that you can dive deeper into each verse. I think you have a great concept but the app still needs fine tuning.

wonderful app easy to read my Bible now

I don't think I should have to pay to read the gospel.

missing words, forces you to pay, AI slop, no catholic translations of bible.

it's great. i love the fact i can scroll the bible like i can scroll social media. i would like the discover section to change the verses on a weekly basis because they just kinda stay the same which is annoying once you've studied them already.
