Free OBD2 ELM327 DTC Reader is designed to find electronic control units in a vehicle, read diagnostic trouble codes, and clear faults through a compatible diagnostic adapter.

The app can scan not only the engine control unit, but also other available vehicle modules, including the transmission, ABS, SRS, body electronics, and other systems. Actual module availability depends on the vehicle, installed equipment, diagnostic protocol, and adapter capabilities.

The app supports standard and extended diagnostic options over CAN, K-Line, and J1850. For non-standard vehicles, protocols, request addresses, and scan ranges can be configured manually.
