However, users repeatedly report intrusive ads and ad-related disruptions that slow the app, along with occasional performance lag. Missing dark mode and several UI/layout issues on certain devices add friction. Subscription prompts/account management problems and lack of a built-in search further hamper usability. Overall, solid journalism and coverage, but ad-related performance and UX issues detract from the reading experience.

Recent reviews

Version 7.1.21 and prior. Already paid subscription but app contains overly AGGRESSIVE AD placements in EACH and EVERY news tab and article. Especially annoying are those that triggers and open a browser redirect to the vendor website just from scrolling and inadvertently hitting upon an ad. Believe the developers have done this intentionally for the ad revenue! Would have given zero stars if I could just for this reason.
