convoluted, boring, & way too difficult to read the text in game. hoping if would grow on me, but it's the opposite. the tokens for the ships look like blobs not ships.

The digital implementation gets rid of a lot of the fiddliness of the physical game and makes it a lot easier to complete a round faster. This is an excellent digital adaptation of the original. There are a few small bugs you'll notice once you've played long enough. It'd be great to see some achievements and online multiplayer of some sort. Plays best on a tablet but is, amazingly, quite functional on a phone as long as you have get the rules.
