BrakeTrail is a key component of the DEFCON (Drivers Experience of Friction Condition) System developed at SBL. DEFCON is a comprehensive hardware, software, and data analysis platform designed for real-time vehicle friction condition monitoring. The system is easily deployed on any vehicle in under a minute, enabling accurate, data-driven friction recommendations based on real-world vehicle duty cycles.

BrakeTrail collects data from vehicle sensors connected to a customized mobile device and securely stores the data in its internal database for further analysis. This collected data plays a critical role in providing objective friction condition insights to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

Access to the BrakeTrail app is restricted to authorized users, and a unique referral code is required to download and use the app. This ensures that only approved personnel can operate within the DEFCON system.
