The Government of Democratic Socialist of Republic of Sri Lanka (GoSL) is implementing Integrated Road Investment Program (iRoad Program) and second Integrated Road Development Program. Both investment program will improve the connectivity between rural communities and socio-economic centers by improving transport efficiency on selected national, provincial and local roads.

Under the Programs, approximately 7,500km of rural roads will be rehabilitated and maintained through performance based maintenance for three years covering entire Island. GoSL through their Road Development Authority (RDA) awarded the consultancy services contract entitled, Road Asset Management Specialist (International) - Agreement No.: RDA/ADB/iROAD/ICS/004 to SATRA Infrastructure Management Services Pvt Ltd, India, represented by Rajshekar Gotimukul. The project commenced on 23 April 2018 with an expected completion date of 22 April 2021.
