Bhagirath

Bhagirath is an official mobile app launched by the Spring and River Rejuvenation Authority (SARRA), Government of Uttarakhand under the Jal Sanrakshan Abhiyan 2025.
The app empowers citizens to actively participate in water conservation by reporting the condition of water sources — including Naulas, Dharaas, springs, and rain-fed rivers — in their local areas.
How it works:

Citizens report critical or endangered water sources in their village.
SARRA reviews the submitted reports
Government takes action to revive and conserve the identified sources
