Hanja Wave Riding is an HSK vocabulary app designed for Korean-speaking learners. Korean already contains many Sino-Korean words that can be used for learning Chinese. This app does not force you to discard that knowledge and memorize new ones.

It moves from Sino-Korean words you already know to the Chinese characters and Pinyin, and expands to the next word by following clues that match the same character and pronunciation. This is Hanja Wave Riding.

Only 22 days left? That’s okay. The number of words to memorize today is allocated according to the number of days remaining until the exam. You can immediately see how many words you need to memorize today and which word you are currently on.

We have also incorporated the sensation of the red memorization sheets found in paper vocabulary books into your app. When you turn on the memorization cover, the meaning of the saved word disappears, leaving only the space. Since you can tap to check after thinking about it once, you can use it as a review tool for recalling words yourself, rather than just a vocabulary book to read through.

Also, even within the same vocabulary book, the words that are difficult to memorize vary from person to person. By saving words in your app and assigning a difficulty rating of 1 to 3 stars, you can include difficult words more frequently in your tests.
