Android Auto dashboard, so you can turn things on and off with a single tap — without touching your phone while
driving.

• Live updates — The screen refreshes automatically every 30 seconds, keeping device states in sync with your home.

• Your server, your data — OH Auto connects directly to your own openHAB instance. There's no third-party cloud
in between — your credentials and your home stay yours.

Setup

1. Install OH Auto on your phone.
2. Open the app and enter your openHAB server URL, an API token, and the name of the group you want to control.
3. Connect your phone to Android Auto — your devices appear automatically on the car screen.

Requirements

• A running openHAB server (self-hosted or remote) that your phone can reach.
• An openHAB API token for authentication.
• A vehicle or head unit that supports Android Auto.

OH Auto is an independent companion app for the open-source openHAB home automation platform. It is not an
official openHAB product.
