Sancharoo Captain collects real-time location data to enable live trip tracking, route navigation, and accurate fare calculations even when the app is closed or running in the background. A continuous foreground service with a persistent notification is used while you are online to ensure that you stay reliably connected to nearby ride requests and that your trip progress is recorded accurately without interruption.

Sancharoo Captain uses a location foreground service only when a captain goes Online or has an active ride/order. The ongoing notification tells the captain that live location sharing is active. If interrupted, dispatch, pickup navigation, ETA accuracy, rider/customer tracking, and delivery completion can fail, directly affecting the ride/order workflow.
