THE MATH
Molarity uses the standard relationship

M = mass ÷ (molar mass × volume)

with the mole count derived as moles = mass ÷ molar mass. Any one of mass,
molarity or volume can be found from the other two, and units are converted for
you so the concentration always comes out in mol/L (M).
