Most investing apps put returns and a ticking price on the first screen. The number lifts you when it rises and rattles you when it falls — and pushes you into impulse trades.

· Reappraise: when a principle is shaken, look back at the calmer past you, then decide for yourself to hold, revise, or sell — and record it. The app never sells for you.
· Journal & retrospect: your decisions and their reasons build up, reflecting what kind of investor you are.
