Same Way–Samkjør,spar tid & kr

Train cancelled? Bus delayed? Hard to find parking? Tired of high fuel, tolls and car maintenance costs? With Same Way you can find a ride or fill available seats with others who are going the same way. Share the travel costs, make better use of your time and have company on the road – to work, on a visit or on a long trip.

SAVE MONEY AND TIME
As a driver, you can have part of your travel costs covered by taking passengers on a trip you are already going to take. As a passenger, you can save compared to driving your own car and not having to look for parking for your own car at your destination. A suitable carpool can result in less waiting, fewer transport changes and a more direct journey. On roads with shared lanes, you can get better accessibility when the car has enough people on board and the signage allows it.

Plan your journey before problems arise. Carpooling can be a practical alternative both in everyday life, when public transport fails and where the offer is limited. Available trips depend on what other users have entered.

FEWER CARS – LESS EMISSIONS
Why drive your own car when you're going the same way? When a shared ride replaces separate car trips, it can reduce traffic, emissions and the need for parking spaces. Use available seats in cars that are already on the road, and get more out of resources.

SMART CAR SHARING WITH A FOCUS ON SAFETY
Same Way helps you find travel companions based on itinerary and time. Maps, ride requests and chat are combined in one app. Review available profile information and agree on pickup location, time, costs and any luggage before departure. Clear communication provides a better basis for a safer and more predictable trip. You can also block users if necessary.

YOU CAN DO THIS IN THE APP
• Find current trips based on itinerary and time.
• Offer a ride and state the number of available seats.
• Submit a request with your desired destination and departure.
• Use the map to get an overview of your trip.
• Arrange pick-up and practical details in the chat.

FOR DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS
Do you have any available seats? Publish your departure location, destination, time and number of seats. Find passengers going the same way, and share the travel costs. Need a ride? Search for a suitable trip or post a request so that drivers can see your travel needs. Driver and passenger agree on the amount and payment method before departure. Payment is made directly between you.
