User Reviews

Users appreciate Downify for enabling offline playback of Spotify playlists without premium and its good audio quality. However, multiple reviews highlight significant issues such as frequent download failures due to YouTube restrictions, slow download speeds, and a lack of user-friendly features like file management and playback controls. Despite these drawbacks, the app's open-source nature and potential for music discovery are praised. Many users request improvements to reliability and interface enhancements.

Pros

Easy to download Spotify playlists via links
Good audio quality of downloaded songs

Potentially useful for discovering new music through related song categories

Cons

Frequent download failures due to YouTube policies and scraping errors
Slow download speeds and occasional app slowness
Unable to move or access downloaded files outside the app easily
Lack of features like replay/loop and user-friendly interface
Inability to download all songs in a playlist or some songs fail to download

this app used to be phenomenal at doing what it was supposed to, but has since stopped working which is realy disappointing because I relied on it, and no other app does this, and if it does it is pay walled, and the whole reason I need an app like this is so I can not buy premium, because I dont want to spend the money
