Learn Before: App Blocker

You open Instagram without thinking. Then TikTok. Then Reddit.
Learn Before turns that habit into something useful.
When you open an app you’ve chosen to protect, Learn Before gives you a short learning challenge first. Answer a few questions, learn something new, and then unlock the app for a set amount of time.
It’s simple:
• Choose the apps that distract you most
• Pick what you want to learn
• Answer a few questions before opening those apps
• Earn a short unlock
• Build real knowledge over time
Learn Before is designed to add just enough friction to break automatic scrolling without making your phone frustrating to use.
Learn in small moments
You don’t need to sit down for a long study session.
Every time you reach for a distracting app, you get a chance to review a few questions instead.
Over time, those tiny moments add up.
You can learn topics like:
• Geography
• History
• Mathematics
• English vocabulary
• General knowledge
Questions include explanations, difficulty levels, review logic, and progress tracking so you’re not just answering random trivia.
Built around real learning
Learn Before remembers what you’ve seen, what you get wrong, and what needs more practice.
Questions you struggle with can return sooner, while things you already know appear less often.
You can also practice outside of app challenges, review mistakes, track your progress, and see which topics are getting stronger.
You stay in control
You decide:
• Which apps to protect
• How many questions are required
• How long an app stays unlocked
• What subject you want to learn
• When protection is active
You can stop protection whenever you want.
Learn Before is a self-control and learning tool, not a parental-control or device-management app.

Privacy-first by design
Learn Before is built to work locally on your device.
Your learning progress, app selections, and challenge data stay on your device unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise.
The app does not need access to your messages, photos, contacts, microphone, or camera.
Why Learn Before?
Because deleting social apps isn’t always realistic.
Sometimes you still want Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, or TikTok.
Learn Before gives you a middle ground:
keep the apps, but make the habit work for you.
A few questions at a time.
A little more knowledge every day.
Learn before you scroll.
