Safeinest Connect

THIS IS THE CHILD'S APP. Parents install Safeinest: Parental Control on their own phone first, then pair this app with a code.

Safeinest Connect is the half of Safeinest that lives on your child's Android phone. A parent installs Safeinest: Parental Control on their own phone, this app goes on the child's, and a one-time code pairs the two.

Everything it does, it does openly. Your child can always see what is switched on.

WHAT YOUR CHILD GETS
• Family chat: message the people looking after them, any time. This app is never blocked, so they can always reach you.
• Family calls: a voice call home from inside the app, no phone number needed, that rings through on a locked phone.
• Family SOS: one button tells the family something is wrong, and where they are.
• Ask for extra time: a request with a reason, which a parent can allow or decline.
• Earn-time tasks: finish a chore or homework a parent set, and earn bonus minutes.
• A daily mood check: one tap to say how today feels.
• The Safeinest Browser: SafeSearch always on, and a calm page instead of a blocked site.
• Their own word for their parent, and the whole app in their own language.

WHAT A PARENT SETS FROM THEIR OWN PHONE
• App limits by kind, such as games or social media, behind a calm pause screen.
• Block now: pause the whole phone in one tap, and unblock just as fast.
• Bedtime and school hours: apps rest on a schedule, judged by this phone's own clock, even with no internet.
• Live location, with a 24-hour trail: shared only while a parent has it switched on, and the child sees a notice on screen the whole time it is running.
• Safe zones and no-go areas: the parent hears when the phone arrives, leaves, or enters a marked place.
• A screen-time report: today's total, top apps, and the last 7 days.

MESSAGE SAFETY, WITH THE CHILD'S AGREEMENT
• If the child agrees on a consent screen, this phone checks arriving messages on the device for signs of self-harm, bullying, and sexual content, and alerts the parent. Only the alert leaves the phone. English today.
• "Not now" is a real answer and changes nothing.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT CANNOT DO
We would rather you trusted us than be surprised later.
• Nothing here runs in secret. The child is told what is on.
• App blocking uses Android's accessibility service. Before anything is turned on, the app shows exactly what it reads: the name of the app on the screen, and nothing more.
• It does not read typing, photos, or what is inside apps beyond the message safety the child agreed to.
• The removal lock, if the child agrees to it, makes uninstalling a deliberate, visible step: the lock must be switched off in Settings first, and the parent is told the moment it happens. No app can make removal impossible, and we will never say this one can.
• Android always keeps the notification shade, volume, and power menu above any app. A pause covers apps; it is firm, not a full lock of the phone.

NO ADS, NOTHING TO BUY
This app is free and has no ads, no tracking, and no purchases. It needs a Safeinest account on a parent's phone.

THIS APP NEEDS THE PARENT APP
Safeinest Connect pairs with "Safeinest: Parental Control" on a parent's phone. On its own, it will only ask to be connected to a family.
