ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
SafeCircle uses Android's Accessibility service only for optional parental app limits and app blocking on a child's phone. When a parent sets a daily time limit or blocks an app, SafeCircle shows a pause screen if that app is opened. The service only detects which app is currently in the foreground — it never reads messages, passwords, photos, screen content, or what you type. The foreground app name is used only on this device to enforce limits; we do not store, sell, or share it. You can turn Accessibility access off any time in Android Settings → Accessibility.

LOCATION
SafeCircle collects precise location so invited family members can see each other on the family map for safety check-ins and alerts. With “Allow all the time,” location may also update in the background while the app is closed. Location is shared only with family members you invite — never public. We do not sell location data or use it for advertising.
