Sliding Puzzles

Sliding Puzzles is “all in one” picture/photo sliding puzzle game; you may find many similar puzzle games in different app stores. Unlike other puzzle games, this app doesn’t have pre-stored images for playing game and comes with very few simple sample images. However, it lets player to choose pre-stored image file from the device (mobile/tab) or one can take picture/photo using camera option to play the game. Playing this game is very straight forward; one need to select the complexity and pick picture/photo from the options available, then press “Play” once picture/photo is loaded and then on you can slide cells/pieces.

Three complexity levels (Easy, Difficult and Complex) to choose and difficult has two options. The complex level has different cell/piece sizes (1, 2, 3 and 4) and has two blank/empty cells, which makes it difficult to play, as one need to use both the blank cells to play. YOU WIN, if you are able to bring the count in red color (displayed at the bottom of the Play screen) to zero after pressing “Play”.

In this app, scrambling/jumbling is totally random and it was very difficult to implement especially the complex option, as it has multi sized cells with two blank cells, I was thinking of making it semi random or have pre-stored puzzles, but went with total random, so some time the complex level may be very easy. This is an offline game, so any image file(s) used from the device or photo/ picture taken by device camera will remain in the device on which one is playing the game.
