N+1: Next Number

A number appears. Two buttons below it. One of them carries its successor — tap that one. That is the whole game, and it is enough.

N+1 is a number game for the odd spare minute: short enough for the queue at the till, fast enough that by the third level you stop reading and start calculating.

EIGHT LEVELS

Each level has its own number range and a score you need to clear it — from 1 to 10 in the first, up to two-digit numbers in the eighth. The wrong answer sits above the correct one where the range has room, otherwise below it, and which side it lands on is a coin flip. You cannot spot it by position.

THREE SPEEDS

Simple — no clock. A correct answer is worth one point.

Advanced — two seconds per question, and every level shaves some off. Two points.

Genius — one and a half seconds to start with, uncomfortable from there. Three points.

Run out of time or tap the wrong number and the round ends. Level, score and best result are kept.

WITHOUT ANYTHING ELSE

No ads. No tracking. No permissions — not a single one. No internet connection, because there is nowhere for the app to send anything. No account, no sign-in, no purchases.

Your progress lives on the device and leaves with the app.

The game was published in 2014 and, as of this update, runs on current Android again.
