In order to obtain a refill you need the Rx #. That's not something one has when you're on the go and the Rx bottle is home. If each patient had a unique ID # then one can set up a profile that lists all of one's medications which includes the Rx #s. To obtain a refill all one has to do is access your profile and then select which Rx to refill. When I go to see a doctor they have an electronic listing of all of my medications at all of the pharmacies that I have used. Like I said something to consider.
