To take advantage of all the functions of the NCP-DVR100,you will need to connect it via WiFi with the NCP-DVR100 App on your smartphone .Your smartphone (via the App) can also function as a screen where you can monitor and review driving footage .

Connect first to your NCP-DVR100 with your smartphone , Your dash Camera WiFi name would be NCP-DVR100_XXXXXX ,last 4 digits are unique to each dash cam ,then open the app to access your dash camera ,through the NCP-DVR100 app, you can:
1.       Watch all footage live view as it records
2.       Browse, download, and manage your photos and videos
3.       Share the footage to social media
4.       Change the settings of your NCP-DVR100
5.       Format SD card and reset to factory settings

How did this app make it to market? Via the wi-fi function you only get 5 sec playbacks before it resets back to video start. Same if you use the time bar to fast forward. Save/download tab at top right is blank, operate by feel, top is 'save', bottom is delete... When saving a file it gets to 3%, then resets itself. No transfer happens. Resorted to manually removing SD card from camera to insert in lappie to download a traffic incident, just like my old $39.95 dashcam. This pile of poo was $189

We are unable to finish setting it up as the camera won't connect and continues to crash.. We first thought it was a faulty Dash cam so we had it replaced but have still had the issue. We even tried to set it up using both of our phones but it's the app.
