PackDial for JK JBD Daly BMS

PackDial reads the battery management system (BMS) of your lithium battery over Bluetooth and shows its status on your phone. It is made for solar, RV, camping, boat, e-bike, e-rickshaw and inverter batteries that use a JBD (Xiaoxiang), JK or Daly BMS.

Free with one small banner ad at the bottom of the screen. Batteries differ by model and firmware, so we cannot promise that every model will work. If something does not work with yours, please tell us at support@runwith-ai.com.

PACKDIAL PRO (OPTIONAL, ONE-TIME PURCHASE)
Reading your batteries is free. If you check your battery often, Pro adds:
• History: the last 7 days of charge, voltage, current and temperature as a chart, and a CSV file to share. Kept on your phone only.
• Low charge alert: a notification when the charge falls below your level, while PackDial is open and connected.

READ-ONLY BY DESIGN
PackDial only reads data from the battery. It never changes battery settings. It cannot switch charging or discharging off or on, and it cannot unlock a locked battery. Please use it only with your own battery.

SUPPORTED BATTERIES
• JBD (Jiabaida) BMS with the "xiaoxiang" Bluetooth protocol (service FF00), used in many 12 V, 24 V and 48 V LiFePO4 packs
• Daly smart BMS with Bluetooth (names starting with "DL-"), both older and newer generations
• JK (Jikong) BMS with Bluetooth
• Gobel Power BMS with Bluetooth (names starting with "BMS-")
• E&J BMS on the Nordic UART service
• PACE BMS with Bluetooth (names starting with "PC-"), new in 0.1.17 and not yet tested on a real pack
Only one app can connect to the battery at a time, so close other battery apps first.

• Every cell voltage, with the spread between the highest and lowest cell, and which cells are balancing
• Temperatures
• Charge and discharge switch status
• Active protections (over/under voltage, temperature, overcurrent, short circuit)
• Cycle count, manufacturing date and BMS software version
• Pro: 7-day history chart and CSV, low charge alert

NO LOGIN, STAYS CONNECTED
• No account needed. Reading your battery works without internet; only the ad uses it
• If the connection drops, the app reconnects by itself. It also reconnects the moment you return to the app.

• Demo mode to try the app without a battery
• Languages: English, Japanese, German, French and Dutch

PRIVACY
• No analytics; nothing is sent to our servers
• Battery data is read over Bluetooth and stays on your phone
