RMBL Chat

RMBL Chat is a private messenger where security isn't a feature, it's the foundation.

Every message, file, and voice note is end-to-end encrypted using NaCl (Curve25519 + XSalsa20-Poly1305) before it ever leaves your device. The server only stores ciphertext, not even the server operator can read your conversations.
Connect to any compatible RMBL server including your own. There's no central authority. You choose who runs your infrastructure.
Registration in app requires an invitation from an existing user or a server operator. This keeps communities intentional and spam-free.

Private chats with full E2E encryption, read receipts, message reactions, replies, pinning, editing, and deletion.
Encrypted group conversations with automatic key rotation when members change. Mention participants with @username, see who read your messages, and manage permissions for who can add members, change group info, or delete messages.
Voice messages with waveform visualization, encrypted audio, up to 60 seconds.
Share photos, videos, and documents, all encrypted before upload. Files are cached locally.
Add contacts on your server or across other RMBL servers using user@server handles. Cross-server messaging works seamlessly.
Set up a 12-word recovery phrase to protect your encryption keys. Change your password without losing access to message history.
