Virtual Permit Book

Virtual Permit Book replaces the paper permit binder in the cab.

Fleet managers upload permits, licences, registrations, medical cards and insurance certificates once. Every assigned driver, truck and trailer gets them instantly, and they stay current without anyone reprinting anything.

AT THE ROADSIDE
Tap Begin inspection and hand the phone over. One screen shows a QR code the officer scans to see the full permit book. No scrolling through folders while someone waits.

WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL
Documents are cached on the device after the first sync. Weigh stations in dead zones, mountain passes, underground docks: the permit book still opens.

EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE
- Driver documents: CDL, DOT medical certificate, endorsements
- Vehicle documents: registration, IFTA, IRP, annual inspection
- Trailer documents: registration, inspection records
- Company documents: operating authority, insurance certificates

EXPIRY ALERTS BEFORE THEY BITE
Colour-coded status on every document, and a push notification before anything lapses. No more discovering an expired medical card at a scale house.

MESSAGES FROM DISPATCH
Fleet managers send announcements straight to drivers' phones, with an attachment when there's a document to read.

UPLOAD FROM THE ROAD
Photograph a renewed medical card or pick a PDF from the phone and it lands in the fleet's records immediately. No waiting until the truck is back at the yard.

SET UP IN SECONDS
Scan the QR code your fleet manager sends, or type your ID. No account to create, no password to forget. Sensitive documents can be protected with a PIN.

BUILT FOR DOT COMPLIANCE
Made for owner-operators and fleets of any size running under FMCSA rules. Keep DOT, IFTA and IRP paperwork organised, current and ready to show.

Virtual Permit Book is used alongside the Virtual Permit Book web portal, where fleet managers manage drivers, trucks, trailers and documents. A fleet account is required.
