Chicken Jump Road provides players with a single balanced difficulty level. The board consists of a 9×9 grid partially filled with numbers from 1 to 9. The goal is straightforward: complete the remaining cells so that every digit appears only once in each row, column, and 3×3 block. All interactions are deliberate — the player selects an empty cell and chooses a number manually. Cells originally filled by the system cannot be tapped or modified, and correctly selected numbers become locked to prevent unwanted changes.

There are no note-taking tools and no auxiliary hints. The design reinforces concentration and accuracy by allowing only three mistakes. An on-screen indicator displays the remaining attempts, creating a clear structure for thoughtful decision-making. If the player switches to another app or minimizes the game, a pause window appears automatically to preserve the play session.

The progression is fully time-based. A timer tracks the duration of each completed round. When the player successfully fills the entire board, the screen briefly flashes green, a “well done” message appears, and the completion time is revealed along with a “PLAY AGAIN” option. Only successful results are added to the records, and only if the final time is greater than zero. If the round is interrupted, closed, or the menu is accessed before completion, no record is saved.
