Rotazen

Rotazen is a shift scheduling app for the hospitality industry: restaurants, bars, cafés and hotels. Managers build the weekly rota and staff get a clear view of when they work, all in one place.

Every schedule is checked against Bulgarian labor law (Кодекс на труда), so you don't have to track the limits by hand.

FOR MANAGERS AND ADMINISTRATORS
• Build weekly schedules on a simple calendar
• Reuse shift templates and set how many staff you need each day
• Auto-fill open shifts based on availability and the rules
• See labor-law warnings before you publish: weekly hours, rest gaps and night-work limits
• Run multiple locations, positions and teams
• Approve or decline shift swaps and time-off requests

• Export monthly shifts to Excel for payroll

FOR EMPLOYEES
• See your upcoming shifts
• Set your unavailability and recurring time off
• Request shift swaps with coworkers
• Clock in and out from your phone, with a location check at the work site

BULGARIAN LABOR LAW
Rotazen checks schedules against the rules that matter:
• Up to 40 working hours per week (Art. 136)
• At least 12 hours rest between shifts (Art. 152)
• 48 hours weekly rest, including 36 hours in a row (Art. 153)
• Limits on night work (22:00 to 06:00)

ROLES
Rotazen has Administrator, Manager and Employee roles, so each person sees the parts that apply to their job.
