The single, most important skill in playing guitar is KNOWING THE FRETBOARD. Yet, many people play for years and never even know what notes they're playing!

There are hundreds of apps, videos, books, etc. on learning the fretboard. Virtually NONE of them work.

Why don't they work? Because they teach it BACKWARDS. They show a spot on the fretboard and ask, "what note is this?" That looks logical, but it doesn't work because... that's NOT how you play the guitar!!

Think about it: when you play, you don't look at the fretboard and think "uh, what note is that?" Instead, the note starts in your head: "I need a C#..." and THEN you find it, and THEN you play it, note after note.
