Roktoshare: Blood Donation

Roktoshare connects people who need blood with people who can give it.

Post a request in about a minute. Blood group, hospital, how urgent it is, when it is needed by. It goes live straight away. There is no approval queue and no admin to wait on.

Searches run district by district and only show donors who are eligible right now, so nobody wastes a phone call on someone who gave blood last week.

Blood banks, clubs and campus groups can manage their members, coordinate in group channels, and log donations on behalf of the people they work with.

WHAT NOBODY CAN DO

Nobody may ask a patient for money on Roktoshare. Not a fee, not travel money, not a donation. It is the one rule we enforce without exception.

There are no charges for donors, patients or organisations, and there is no advertising. The platform is built and run by volunteers.

YOUR PRIVACY

You decide what appears on your profile, including whether your phone number is visible. Location is only used while you are posting a request, so donors know which hospital to go to, and never in the background. You can delete your account and the personal details attached to it from Settings at any time.

Roktoshare is not a medical service. We do not collect, test, transport or store blood. Donation happens at a hospital or blood centre where the blood is properly screened, and we stay out of the way from there.
