Rods: Pace Notes Co-driver turns any road into a rally-style driving experience. Create a route or use Free Roam to hear real-time voiced callouts for corners, hairpins, hazards, speed bumps, speed cameras and surface changes on backroads, mountain passes, canyons and touge routes worldwide.

Customize severity from simple difficulty levels to numeric rally notes, choose early, standard or late timing, switch between metric and imperial units, and select different car models and voice styles. Callouts continue in the background through Bluetooth, your car stereo or phone speaker. Co-driver mode displays large on-screen pace notes for a passenger to read without audio. Free Roam and Drive mode are available to try for 14 days, followed by a subscription.

Recent reviews

It's a cool idea for an app, but of course like everything nowadays; requires a subscription. You're able to generate routes for free, but to actually follow them as featured- at all; makes you sign up for their membership. While I understand people would be furious at ads and it's not an egregious amount at $32/yr, and additionally to be fair they DO provide a month free, I feel like this app could easily hit 5 stars if it was a one time fee. Just my opinion!
