“Gabay” (“to guide” in Filipino) “Ka” (short for Kanser (Filipino) is a free, simple, easy-to-use app to accompany patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, serving as a cancer-related guide and resource.
The GabayKa app is designed to provide basic education on cancer, assist users to remember appointments, and provide support services, to ease the user’s mind and address cancer-related concerns. Clinically relevant information is personalized, easily accessible, and kept up to date. It also provides:
- Disease profile and monitoring tool for cancer patients, covering: physical wellness, emotional well-being, self-care and other functions.
- Support functions: Funding resources and access to Patient Support Programs and Patient Advocacy Group directory
