This program is designed to illustrate the laws of reflection and refraction of light. As the laser pointer moves, the laser beam enters from the upper medium into the lower medium. When the two media differ, both reflection and refraction phenomena occur. When the refractive index of the upper medium is greater than that of the lower medium, and the angle of incidence exceeds the critical angle, a fascinating total internal reflection can be observed. This program is suitable for primary and secondary school students to learn and understand the laws of reflection and refraction of light, allowing them to review and reinforce physics concepts through engaging interactive activities. It can also be utilized by teachers for classroom demonstrations, enhancing lessons with a more lively and dynamic approach.

The program's key features include:

1. Interactive Simulations: Experience the laws of reflection and refraction firsthand through interactive simulations that allow you to manipulate light beams and observe their behavior.

2. Reflection & Refraction: When the upper medium is different from the lower medium, the incident laser will produce reflection and refraction at the boundary of the two media: the angle of reflection is equal to the angle of incidence, and the ratio of the sine of the angle of refraction to that of the angle of incidence is equal to the ratio of the refractive index of the upper medium to that of the lower medium.

3. Total Internal Reflection: When the refractive index of the upper medium is greater than that of the lower medium, and the angle of incidence is greater than the critical angle, the incident laser at the interface between the two media will undergo total reflection: the incident laser is completely reflected, and the refracted light disappears.

4. Select Different Media: Choose from four different media: air, water, glass, and quartz, each with varying refractive indices for specific laser colors.

5. Select Different Laser Colors: Choose from five laser colors: red, blue, green, orange, and purple. Each color exhibits a unique refractive index in a given medium, with higher-frequency lasers corresponding to higher refractive indices.

6. Zoom & Pan: Zoom in and out, and pan across the screen to closely observe the relationships between angles of incidence, reflection, and refraction.
