Review summary
Pros
- Easy to use and simple interface for planning rides and following others
- Strong trip tracking with detailed stats (speed, elevation, distance) and a history of rides
- Good for discovering motorcycle-friendly routes and exploring backroads
- Social features enable connecting with other riders and viewing others’ trips
- Helpful overall tool for planning, tracking, and logging rides
Cons
- Routing quality is frequently unreliable: wrong directions, straight-line routing, and routing through busy areas
- Subscription is expensive / perceived as a money grab
- Map data is incomplete or outdated (missing roads, regional gaps like Belgium) affecting planning
- Stability issues: app often crashes or stops working and some features don’t work (e.g., create ride)
- Some users report being sent to unintended locations (fuel-stop routing issues, incorrect saved routes)

| 2026-08-09 | the app is great and im thankful for the dark map screen however the feed section and other tabs should also have a dark mode this is my biggest complaint coming from iPhone that offered all dark mode versus just the map | ||

| 2026-08-08 | Was hoping to use the app with Android Auto, but Cardo locked it behind a subscription paywall. Hard to justify spending money on this when there are free options that do navigation better. | ||

| 2026-08-05 | very barebones and basic app compared to calimoto for example. no dark mode in 2026? social experience is nearly useless, also no incentives in the paid plan. no integration of cardo connect or any feature sharing/extension. route finding is okay, but bad closed roads recognition. a bit pointless, and feels outdated from the get go. | ||

| 2026-07-31 | App works pretty good for navigation, I really like the screen layout. It kills the battery on my phone (Pixel 9 Pro XL) and makes the phone very hot if I keep it on the charger -which is a must. Roadbook needs work - Smaller layout (not all caps), sorting options, organization like Gaia or OnX would be great. Also an option to turn on tracking rather than having it default when used for navigation would make it much more efficient. The amount of clicks necessary to end a ride is a bit absurd. | ||

| 2026-07-26 | Good idea, but doesn't avoid unpaved roads, which is important driving the streetbike. So guess what has happened multiple times during my first trip | ||

| 2026-07-12 | not a bad app but doesn't have speed camera alerts in the UK which for me is a must have feature... I'm still morning the murder of AMIgo by TomTom... I hope cameras are on the roadmap, I'll keep checking back to see if it's been added... | ||
