The Bible Study Reader is a structured, question-based Bible study app for individuals and groups. Each study takes you through a book or theme of the Bible chapter by chapter, with Bible passages to read, questions to answer, and personal reflection built in. Your answers are saved automatically as you type and stored privately on your device.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Several complete Bible studies are included and ready to open — no account, no subscription, no internet connection required. Studies cover books of the Bible from both Old Testament and New Testament, as well as thematic courses on Christian belief, conversion, and growing as a disciple of Christ. More studies are available to download free from within the app.

FEATURES

Read and respond
Each chapter presents Bible passages, some text to read, and a sequence of questions designed to guide you through the material. Tap any verse reference to read the passage in a pop-up, then answer the question in the text field below. Your answers are saved automatically.

Personal reflection
Every chapter includes reflection questions for more personal application, and a free-writing notes area at the bottom for anything that doesn't fit the structured questions — things to look up, questions to bring to your group, or personal thoughts.

Progress tracking
A progress ring and chapter-by-chapter breakdown show how much of each study you have completed. Chapters with saved answers are marked in the contents menu so you can see at a glance where you are up to.

Star questions
Star any question to highlight it for review. Starred questions appear in a summary panel at the top of the chapter and are collected in the Progress Overview — useful for group discussion preparation.

Search
Full-text search covers every question in the study and everything you have written in your answers. Results jump directly to the relevant chapter and question.

Read aloud
A speaker button on passages and explanatory text reads the content aloud — useful for accessibility, for listening while commuting, or simply for a different way of engaging with Scripture.

Voice input
Dictate your answers by voice instead of typing. Works in any language your device supports.

Share and export
Share your answers by WhatsApp, email, or any other app. Export a complete formatted record of all your answers for a study, or print to PDF.

Learning pathways
Follow a curated pathway — a sequence of studies from foundations through to leadership — and track your progress across the whole pathway in one view.

DESIGNED FOR MOBILE

The app is built specifically for Android. Text size, font, and interface complexity can be adjusted in Settings. Dark mode is supported. The app works fully offline — no internet connection is needed to read or answer questions once a study is installed.

PRIVACY

All your answers are stored on your device only. No account is required and no data is sent to any server.

The app interface is available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Hausa, Fulfulde, Swahili, Igbo, Malay, Yoruba, Nepali, Amharic, and Arabic.
