SecureNet is a fast and lightweight privacy protection app that blocks ads, trackers, and malicious domains at the network level — enhancing your browsing experience without slowing you down.

Using a local VPN-based DNS filtering system, SecureNet filters domain requests directly on your device. It blocks unwanted and unsafe content across apps and browsers without root access or external VPN servers.

How It Works:
SecureNet uses Android's VpnService API to create a local VPN connection that monitors DNS requests. Each request is checked in real time against regularly updated filter lists covering trackers, ad-serving domains, and known phishing/malware sources, and unsafe domains are blocked instantly.

Foreground Service:
The app runs a foreground service with a persistent notification to provide continuous, real-time protection and ensure transparency while active.

Privacy:
SecureNet does not collect, store, or share your DNS queries or browsing history. All filtering happens locally on your device, and your internet traffic is never routed through external servers. The app uses Firebase Crashlytics solely to diagnose crashes (device model, OS version, and crash stack trace) — no browsing data is ever included. SecureNet does not contain any advertising or tracking SDKs of its own.
