ITINERARY OF BEAUTY 2021

«The cultural heritage of the Bel Paese is archeology, architecture, landscape, food, art»; "Beauty is an indissoluble part of the identity heritage of the beautiful country"; «Therefore, beauty, with all its forms of expression, is not only an aesthetic concept to be contemplated but represents a potential driving force for personal, social and economic development and growth».

I borrowed some phrases from the book «Beauty crumbs» by my philosopher friend Filippo Cannizzo because the «Beauty Itinerary» project of Confcommercio Pesaro and Urbino / Marche Nord was born from these principles and has these objectives. Enhance, promote, communicate the enormous environmental, cultural, food and wine and tourism heritage of the Municipalities that have decided - with us - to focus on tourism and culture to create new models of economic and social development.
And in this 2021 there are thirteen Municipalities that - with us - will carry out this path: the co-capitals of the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, Unesco Creative City for Music (Pesaro) and the historic center of Unesco Heritage (Urbino); the Roman but also the Malatesta Fano; the "most beautiful villages in Italy" Gradara, Mondavio and Pergola; the pearl of the Adriatic, Gabicce Mare; the Renaissance (but also Roman) Cagli and Fossombrone; the landscapes and the fortress of the Ark of Art (Sassocorvaro Auditore); the historic villages and hills of Colli al Metauro and Terre Roveresche; the «Land of pilots and engines» Tavullia.

An itinerary that is also a journey in wonderful places of silence and faith; a journey through the most important archaeological finds of the ancient "consolare Flaminia"; a journey to discover the typical features and flavors of quality food and wine productions; a road that connects the fortresses and military fortifications of Francesco di Giorgio Martini; the surprise of meeting and getting excited in romantic and love places; the many excursions to unspoiled places and environments (from the Marmitte dei Giganti to Monte Catria; from Cesane to Furlo and to the Regional Park - on the sea - of San Bartolo); hiking and cycling trails. And much, much more.

And if it is true that Italy is the "Bel Paese", the Itinerary of Beauty, in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, is a concentrate of it.
