Restoration Room

Restoration Room is a calm, atmospheric puzzle experience built around focus, observation, and visual order. The game places the player at a restorer’s table located in a museum basement, surrounded by darkness. Only a bright desk lamp reveals the working surface, covered with brushes, clamps, glue jars, and carefully arranged tools. Every image in the game reflects this setting and mood, using warm brown tones and a subdued, intimate light. The core mechanic is simple and precise. Each round presents an image divided into a grid of either 2×2 or 3×3 parts. Every part can be rotated in fixed steps. The task is to orient all pieces correctly to restore the complete image. There are no distractions or additional layers — the entire experience is built around the act of careful reconstruction. The game consists of 10 rounds in total. The first 5 rounds use a 2×2 grid and serve as an introduction. The next 5 rounds increase the challenge with a 3×3 grid. In every round, a new image is used. The order of images and the initial orientation of all parts are randomized, ensuring that each session feels slightly different while keeping the rules consistent. When the image is assembled correctly, a green frame briefly appears around it and fades after one second. The player then manually confirms readiness by pressing the next button before moving forward. After completing all 10 rounds, the final screen displays “Done” along with the total time spent across the full session. The best result is saved as a record if it improves upon the previous one. Restoration Room automatically pauses when the app is minimized or interrupted. Upon returning, the player continues from the exact moment they left off, preserving the flow and concentration. This project is designed as a focused concept: a quiet space where time, light, and precision define the experience. Restoration Room invites the player to slow down and restore order, one image at a time.
