Remotera: Android TV Remote

Remotera turns your phone into a fast, clean remote for Android TV and Google TV. It connects over your home Wi-Fi in seconds and works like the remote that came with your TV — only with a real keyboard.

Works with
Android TV and Google TV devices: Xiaomi Mi Box and TV Box S, Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, and Android TV / Google TV televisions from Sony, TCL, Philips, Hisense, Sharp and others. Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs are not supported yet.

Everything your remote does — and more
• D-pad and touchpad: swipe to move, tap to select
• Keyboard: type searches, passwords and Wi-Fi codes from your phone, instantly
• Voice search: speak into your phone, results open on the TV (on devices that support it)
• Apps: open YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Spotify and more with one tap
• Volume, mute, channels, number pad, input, guide, playback keys
• Turn on the TV box from sleep over Bluetooth, just like its own remote

Simple to set up
1. Connect your phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open Remotera — your TV appears automatically.
3. Enter the code shown on the TV screen. Done.

Secure and private
Remotera talks directly to your TV on your own network using the official Android TV Remote protocol with an encrypted connection. No account, no cloud, no tracking of what you watch.

Thoughtful design
Large, easy-to-hit keys, haptic feedback, dark and light themes, and no ads on the remote screen or keyboard. Available in more than 50 languages.

Remotera Pro
All features are free. A one-time Pro purchase removes all ads — no subscription.
