MakoRevive is a professional-grade photo restoration suite that brings the power of advanced AI directly to your phone. Whether you have a faded family portrait from the 1940s, a blurry snapshot from an old digital camera, or a grainy black-and-white memory, MakoRevive helps you transform them into vibrant, high-definition images.

One thing that makes MakoRevive different is our focus on privacy. Most AI apps send your private pictures up to a server somewhere, but we believe your memories should stay in your hands. That is why all the AI processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to a server, and we do not collect any analytics or tracking data. You can restore your photos with total peace of mind, knowing your data stays exactly where it belongs: with you.

The app uses several specialized AI tools to handle different restoration challenges. Simply choose one of 4 options from the workflow and let the app will automatically analyze your photo to denoise, colorize, upscale and sharpen the image in a single professional timeline window. If you have black-and-white photos, our intelligent colorization tool can guess natural-looking colors to make them feel like they were taken yesterday.

We also included a dedicated Face Restoration tool to fix blurry, pixelated, or slightly damaged faces. It specifically targets facial features to bring back clarity and detail while maintaining the person's original look. If you have small, low-quality images, our HD Upscaling can turn them into large, sharp photos that are ready for printing. Finally, our Advanced Denoising cleans up grainy photos taken in low light to give them a smooth, professional finish.

While the 4 button restore option is great for quick results, you can also dive into the Advanced settings if you want to fine-tune things yourself. You have full control over the strength of the denoising, the vibrancy of the colors, and even the fidelity of the face restoration to ensure the results look exactly right to you.
Once the AI is finished, you can use the built-in editor for final touch-ups like brightness, contrast, and cropping. You can compare your work with a before-and-after slider and then export your masterpiece as a high-quality JPEG or a lossless PNG.

To keep the initial app download small, MakoRevive will download its AI models when you first open the app. Once these are on your device, the app works entirely offline so you can restore your photos anywhere, anytime.
