Features & Capabilities

Stop being late to the things that matter. Pick a place and a time, put a small stake on it, and show up. Make it on time and nothing is charged.

TimeDuel is an accountability app for people who keep saying "tomorrow." It helps you stop being late and build the habit of showing up on time. Gym, class, work, a session you booked: set the commitment, and the app checks you in by GPS when you arrive.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Create a challenge: choose the place on the map, the date and time, and a grace period.
2. Set your stake. Your card is only authorized, not charged.
3. Show up. From 5 minutes before the start, open the challenge and check in inside the radius.
4. On time? The hold is released. Late or no-show? You lose the stake.

DO IT ALONE OR WITH FRIENDS
• Self: hold yourself to it. Real stakes make "I'll skip today" harder to say.
• Duo: you and a friend commit to the same time and place. Same stake for both.
• Group: up to 5 people (you and four friends) commit to the same time and place. Everyone has to make it. There's a joining deadline.
• Invite anyone by phone number, even if they don't have TimeDuel yet.

KNOW YOUR RECORD
• Calendar of upcoming challenges and reminders before each one
• Your track record: how often you showed up on time
• Full history of every challenge and every charge
• Public or private, per challenge

THE RULES, IN PLAIN WORDS
• Stakes: $10 to $100 per challenge in the US.
• Self challenge, missed: your stake goes to TimeDuel.
• Duo, one person misses: the friend who showed up receives their stake, minus a 12% app fee and the card processing fee. The app shows the exact amounts before you create a challenge.
• Duo, both miss: 20% of each stake is charged.
• Disagree with a result? Use the dispute button on the challenge.
• You must be 18 or older to use TimeDuel.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Withdrawals require identity verification.

Good for gym accountability, study sessions, classes, work, meetups with friends, or any commitment you keep putting off.

TimeDuel works in English and Arabic.
