Red Grid MGRS is a navigation companion for land navigation training, search and rescue, and backcountry use. Read live MGRS coordinates, check direction and distance, and work with saved waypoints. Core coordinate tools work without an internet connection when your device has a usable location fix.

TACTICAL DISPLAY
A red-on-black display with in-app brightness controls and blackout recovery. Use the standard display for everyday readability. Device screens and operating-system dialogs vary; this is not night-vision equipment certification.

PREPARE BEFORE GOING OFFLINE
Imported maps must cover your intended area. Online maps and purchases use their respective providers. Radio features require compatible Meshtastic hardware and configuration; phones alone do not provide the radio link. Coordinate resolution is not a guarantee of GPS accuracy.

PRIVACY AND SOURCE
No Red Grid account, advertising, analytics or cloud sync. Saved waypoints, route progress and settings remain in local app storage unless you export or share them. Optional radio sharing transmits information to other radios; online map providers and app stores handle their own service requests.

Our source is available to inspect under the repository license. Store purchases support continued development and provide a ready-to-install app with optional Pro features, without building and maintaining it yourself.
